Peter Bagge is LIVE. 40+ years with Fantagraphics. Hate. Indie comics. Making money at conventions. Kickstarter. Writer's block. Retirement. And Sin City vs. 300, because apparently we had to argue. 😂 🎙️ youtu.be/4NRoKqNolZM @smallpressexpo.bsky.social #PeterBagge #IndieComics
Ok, over the weekend we saw plenty of these (🌱) on tops of heads. Can someone explain what was going on? 🤔
Our first convention as credentialed press. ❤️ @smallpressexpo.bsky.social gave USDN our first look inside the indie comics community as press. Every table represents somebody who created something. Our first is in the books. It won't be our last. 🎥 youtu.be/8MJ_3Bwi28Y #SPX2026
Please appreciate my newly adopted son, this perfect Frogby that @alexandragallant.com gave me at @smallpressexpo.bsky.social this year 🐸🍊💖

I had a shorter than usual visit at @smallpressexpo.bsky.social this year, but brought home some new stuff that looks cool.
Myself and @brigidalverson.bsky.social blab all about @smallpressexpo.bsky.social in our seasonal "Four Women in a Hotel Room" podcast! Sadly, the great Carol Tyler and Shelly Bond did NOT join us for the fest - maybe next time! on.soundcloud.com/LCHhIOrVoZ7i...

Got a bevy of new Thing sketches at this weekend's @smallpressexpo.bsky.social. Truly carousel worthy, I'm sure you'll agree
Really lovely time at @smallpressexpo.bsky.social after taking last year off. Such a whirlwind as always as I get back into the swing of my regular schedule today. Apologies if we didn't get a chance to chat; I was gone for a chunk of the evening social time to celebrate my sister's 40th bday. 🤗😵💫😪
A most accurate thread - it's a true privilege to be on SPX staff. 1 downside: I only see these amazing humans (exhibitors, volunteers, staff) in-person 3 days per year.
Small Press Expo@smallpressexpo.bsky.social · 3w agoIn speaking with many of the SPX Staff, the one thing we all agreed on was how much we needed SPX Weekend. We live our lives, we do things that don’t always fill the soul but does keep a roof over our heads.

We weren't tabling this year (taking this year off!), but that just meant an even BIGGER haul from @smallpressexpo.bsky.social ! Thanks everyone for putting on an amazing show and inspiring us ✨
That’s a wrap on @smallpressexpo.bsky.social! A huge thank you to the organizers and volunteers who made the show run so smoothly, to our artists who continue to wow us, and to everyone who came by our booth and helped us celebrate our 50th anniversary!
Thank you @smallpressexpo.bsky.social for the best weekend in North Bethesda I've had in a long time. The night's not over yet but the show sadly is. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and picked up Sun/Moon/Rising ☀️🌙🫶
Another incredible @smallpressexpo.bsky.social in the books. Thanks to to the organizers and volunteers for all their hard work! And thanks to everyone who came by to see me and/or my small army of former interns. You’re all awesome (especially those of who who bought stuff). Go comics!
