The final vote: 51-45, with 4 people absent. CLOTURE FAILS, A CONGRESSIONAL SPORTS BAN WILL NOT HAPPEN. Democrats hold firm, not a single dem voted for cloture. MAJOR victory for everyone who called in today and this week in support of trans people.
Riffs that probably won’t make the record part 3 (come to our shows edition)
Can’t wait to do this again in less than a month
words with friends but its shows !!! NYC and Boston with Goalkeeper Lifers @cheem.bsky.social @5everband.bsky.social Ringpop!
NEW MUSIC FRIDAY 2/21! Who are we missing this week?
365 Days of DIY pt 2 DAY 44: @surrendertheghost.bsky.social FFO: The Juliana Theory, Terminal, Acceptance One of my favorite up & coming groups, and SUPER new still (their first song isn’t even a year old yet!), STG reminds me of the early 2000’s emo nostalgia that I absolutely LOVE.
tenmo with the good takes. happy valentines day everyone Check out the bands in the original post, and also check out Dead Dog: A band that weve been friends with (in their different forms) for the better part of 10 years. They really brought life to the scene back then, and continue to do so now
💜 tenmonthsummer (fate lines OUT NOW!) 💜@tenmonthsummer.bsky.social · 2y agosaw a lot of “talk about a band you couldnt get into” talk this week which is fine to have your tastes, but wanted to flip it into love today and ask you to tell me: what is it about a band you love that makes you love them? i want to fill the TL with praise for our community 💜 gonna tag who I can!
THE JER BAND IS GOING CAMPING!!! We’ll be playing @camppunksylvania.bsky.social in June! COME HANG OUT! Let’s make vegan smores or take a canoe in a lake idk I didnt camp growing up. My idea of summer camp is holding a baritone on a football field LMAO bnds.us/bk635w for 🎟️🎟️🎟️
Put vocals on a new demo last night and I have not stopped listening to it since
Almost forgot today! 365 Days of DIY pt 2 DAY 41: Shoreline FFO: Rival Schools, Trophy Eyes, The Juliana Theory Complete honesty, I hadn’t dove into this band until this week with their new track, but it blew me away to the point where I went back & listened to ALL their music. SO GOOD.
365 Days of DIY pt 2 DAY 40: Bonus FFO: Kerosene Heights, Swiss Army Wife, Red Sun One of my favorite discoveries last year, and some of the strongest up and coming songwriters to grace our scene. This Florida based band has massive potential & is only getting better.
Autopilot is by far the most requested song when we go on tour now. It’s over 2 years old, so a bit of a late bloomer but it’s one of our favs too so I’m not complaining ❤️
Yesterday I shared my favorite singles of last year. Today, I present my top ten splits and EPs of 2024. Enjoy, and I'll see you tomorrow for my top albums 🐝🐝 beewadream.wordpress.com/2025/02/06/b...
Bee’s EP of the Year, 2024
These ones are next to impossible for me to number, I love them all dearly and some of these EPs have introduced me to my new favorite bands and friends. So don’t pay attention to the numbers…
