BREAKING: Trump Signs Executive Order Ensuring Sun Will Not Be Visible at Night "Nobody thought it could be done. For years, the radical left let the sun run wild, setting whenever it wanted, no rules, total chaos. I fixed it. You're welcome."

Last month the NYT said AOC "struggled" to give an answer on Taiwan and quoted her with "uhs" and "ums" to make her look stupid Yesterday talking about Hormuz Trump claimed he's heard from "numerous countries" and said "uh" four times. The NYT deleted the "uhs" and paraphrased him to look smarter:

NYT on Feb. 13, 2026:

The visit also demonstrated the relative foreign policy inexperience of Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, who has made a few overseas trips since taking office but does not sit on any House committees devoted primarily to world affairs. She struggled at times to formulate succinct answers at a nighttime panel session, during which she was asked probing and specific questions about how to respond to international crises.

Questioned about whether the United States should send troops to defend Taiwan if China invaded the island, she stalled for roughly 20 seconds before offering a substantive response.

“I think that, uh, this is such a, a — you know, I think that — this is a, um — this is of course, a, uh, a very longstanding, um, policy of the United States,” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez said, before saying that the country should try to avoid reaching that point with China in the first place.NYT on March 16, 2026:

On Monday, Mr. Trump claimed that “numerous countries have told me they’re on the way,” noting that President Emmanuel Macron of France would most likely help in the Strait of Hormuz and was an eight out of 10. “Not perfect, but it’s France,” he said.

Others are not demonstrating sufficient enthusiasm for his demands, he said.

YOU WANT TO KNOW ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA You get to interact with humans you'd likely not have contact with IRL/meatspace because our worlds in meatspaces are limited by time/money/distance/access. DO YOU PEOPLE KNOW HOW FUCKING COOL IT IS HOW MANY SCIENTISTS ARE ON HERE

“Hey quick follow up for the History Respecter — what aspect of the Confederacy are you *most* proud of? The treason against the United States? The defense of slavery? All the losing? I bet it’s the losing.”

Hegseth on restoring a Confederate monument in Arlington cemetery: "We recognize our history. We don't erase it. We don't follow the woke lemmings off the cliff that want to tear down statues ... we're proud of our history."

Padilla: When you have the DHS using cruel and aggressive tactics for immigration enforcement, of course, in a community as diverse as Los Angeles, you’re going to have people speaking up in defense of our fundamental rights and due process—rights the Trump administration has consistently ignored.

political norms are not just completely useless they are deeply harmful because they always end in the worst people acting with impunity while everyone else goes 'oh my goodness well nothing we can do that would violate the rules that don't exist really'

I mean very obviously Hegseth should resign, and if it were a Democratic administration this would be quickly be a consensus position.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

"expect Justice Department investigations that might not lead to prosecutions but nonetheless would drain them of resources; IRS investigations into their taxes and business ventures; revoked passports; or threats to cancel security clearances—all designed to get potential critics to self-silence"

Trump’s Slow-Burn Authoritarianism

You’ve read about the scary horrors of a Trump second term. But a legal war of attrition that harasses MAGA’s enemies and transforms government info into propaganda could prove more insidious and hard...
