this is coming as we got a lot of stuff done at band practice today and its a pleasure to sit through. that one was from age 22 and in my "anyone can be miles davis" phase

I still don't know whether the consensus of kurt cobain should be purely black and white. dude was kinda dumb. really smart, really bad life circumstance. stood for good stuff, was equally poetic and blunt. if you hate kurt cobain, I don't like you, but if you really love kurt cobain, I don't know

i was thinking, and the smartest thing you can do in life is measure yourself and judge yourself by the right human metric, just judge yourself free of other people, and even if someone says something scathing to you, its just garbage. no one is king of the garbage

all you gotta do is not scare someone off from what they love most, and have stupid ass ideas on how people you perceived as flawed can fix themselves, and maybe have more balls than calling a schizophrenic a freak or some kind of slur, have something good to say instead
