We need your help - four of our satellite-tracked quail have gone missing in France! Any information would be interesting, e.g. if the signal comes from near a fox den, buzzard nest or hunting area 🦊🦅🔫 If you can recover the tag, we can re-use it - and you can name this quail 😉 Pls share widely 🇫🇷

📸 A. Linsbauer via @matthias_huss

✨New paper✨ How do juvenile ravens find social groups? We describe how juvenile common ravens, who have left their natal territories seeking to join non-breeder flocks, use space with respect to other birds, and discuss what this means for social integration. www.cell.com/iscience/ful...

Our paper on the Evolutionary Imbalance Hypothesis (with data from my PhD looong time ago!), led brilliantly by @drjoshbrian.bsky.social, has been out in EcolLetters for a bit -now also with a short video on it! Take home: species from phylogenetically diverse home ranges are more likely to invade.
