It has been a very long time since I've led a teacher team in a conference presentation. Thrilled to have the financial support from Teaching with Primary Sources - Midwest to present alongside 3 teachers that participated in our K-5 Literacy/SS grant. What a delight! #sschat #WCSS26

Teachers give students feedback with the expectation that they’ll apply it to their work and habits, says teacher Nicole Greene—yet, the process is rarely modeled for students. So she decided to make feedback reciprocal to model the process *and* help foster deeper connections. Win-win! 🏆️

Teaching at the higher ed level, I'm so grateful to have taught middle schoolers for 15 years. At every level, our students deserve a level of empathy and grace that the world isn't offering. I can feel some of my students needing to be seen. That alone motivates the hidden curriculum in my work.

Wearing my shirt designed by Jarrett j. Krosoczka in front of my Jerry Craft Read poster holding a Ms Marvel book, next to my Ms Marvel Stand-up during Ramadan and Read Across America Week and Will Eisner Week is my new flex.
