Okay, I'm just going to ignore publishers sending me AI games now. At first I was politely declining, but in the last week I've received invites for nearly 10 AI-based games. Nay friend.

Took a week off sites like Bluesky, Instagram etc., and just focused on engaging with my friends and communities on Discord, Twitch, and YouTube, the normal spaces and... I feel lighter. Less "responsible" to manage yet another space. Also closed my Patreon in favour of a Kofi Much lighter.

The demo's out! I got to play an early prototype build, and loved it, but it is VERY WEIRD mechanically. Does not play like any other shooter or souls-like or really anything else out there. I think most people will bounce off it. But it has its hooks into me. Love the weird ritualistic shooting.

On the topic of AI, are these guys that are fusing two games into one, getting permission from the publishers to do this? Suppose it only matters when they try sell the stuff.
So I'm seeing all this shit about ai assisted modding where it's X in Y. Minecraft in Skyrim etc. Then I see a Resident Evil x Doom one, they're saying about how it only took a day to do and all I can think is THEY STILL HAVENT TURNED THE FUCKING TEXTURE FILTERING OFF.
I've opted to not share my streams here anymore because well... no one is scrolling bluesky and looking to click on a link to a live stream. SEO for videos, yes, but not live.
Another day, another AI-Game in my inbox. What should I do? Help them out and suggest they don't use AI to develop their art and UX, or ignore them?
