After a while it’s hard to miss this—transphobic mythology tends to be about preserving control over feminized subjects and depicting deviants from that as enemy masculinities.

Given that when denied social integration and transition trans people, very much including trans kids, kill themselves with horrific regularity, I think every anti-trans Dem needs to contend with taking the stance that it's okay when marginalized kids kill themselves.

Like you need to look into the camera and say "I think my chances at election and cis girl's trophies are more important than stopping trans kids from killing themselves" and own that. You cannot deny that's what this stance is and it's cowardly evil bullshit and should be labled as such.

if democrats can't win the house or senate without the votes of trans people than it sure sounds like your issue should be with them for telling us they won't protect us and think that segregation against us is justified

Trans people have leverage now. You cannot abandon us and expect us to be part of your coalition to help everyone else. If you’re going to throw us away to win an election, don’t be surprised if we don’t show up for you. Especially if others in the party are considering it, and it could spread.

The vitriol directed at me and other members of the trans community for having the audacity to declare our votes are not to be taken for granted. By cisgender people who otherwise have called themselves allies. I wish it weren’t so utterly predictable.

You either support trans people or we don’t vote for you. No amount of blue MAGA enjoy the camps posting will scare people who are already being killed.

One of the many things I hate about Christianity is the way Christians emphasize all the submission, kneeling, and obedience. Uh, hello? I don’t do that for Jesus. I do that for my wife. That’s our thing.
