As Indigenous People’s Day approaches I want to lovingly offer the practice that those of us who are salaried & get holidays off donate at least a portion of that paid day of day’s wages to the communities & causes we’re meant to be centering on i.e. Indigenous People’s Day and Juneteenth.

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

The reason I love acrylic markers so much is there's no prep and no cleanup. I LOVE painting with regular acrylics but the amount of time you spend getting set up and then cleaning up makes my highly ADHD brain see it as a "task" and therefore it's harder to get executive function working for it.
