In Nest's case, where do you put blame on one's bad thoughts and brain chemicals inbalance? Is it upbringing, bullying in school that was never addressed, fatphobia in media or all of the above? One may say that Nest should feel free after leaving middle school but it is not that easy. 2/2
4. I was picturing the concept that while Addie's problems can stem from external factors - her mother and her ex-boyfriend being the main troublemakers, in Nest's case, his problems and doubts are mostly internalized and the responsibility for his case is smudged. 1/2
Ernest 'Nest' Nowak is open-minded, curious and playful 15-year-old. He wants to be the best student, friend and son no matter how self-destructive it is. He's very hard for himself, but deep down he wishes to be liked the way he is and not please other people. 2/2
3. Main characters of my comic is Addie and Nest. Adrianna 'Addie' Pawlowska is energetic, impulsive, wild, unpredictible 15-year-old. She lives as each day would be her last and doesn't want to think of the future. She would do everything for her friends who are her only anchors to normalcy. 1/2
Is it enough to prove them that it's never too late to turn their lives around? 2/2
2. Life is not easy for Addie and Nest. Dropping grades, bitter exes, deadly strive for perfection and constant fear are only a few things these two unlucky teens are facing on a daily basis. One March day, they promise to see each other again in high school as better, stronger people. 1/2
