Tinkered a bit with KOReader on my jailbroken Kindle, and while I'm enjoying the app for reading books, I wanted it to look less obviously like I was just looking at files in a folder when I'm on the home screen. So, I installed the "ProjectTitle" plugin, and it's exactly what I wanted.

Photo of a Kindle being held up by my left hand. On the screen, we see the home screen for KOReader, which is pretty minimal with a selection of books laid out vertically.

Whoever recommended Vernor Vinge's 'Fire Upon the Deep' to me a couple of weeks back, thank you! The climax of the book, in particular, is one of the most tense things I have read in a while.

"our longing for inconvenience" This has to be clickbait. There's a 3 "disc" MTV classic dance compilation I used to listen to on Spotify as I worked. Then, one day, I noticed multiple tracks were missing. I eventually got the physical CD version (with all the tracks) for less than €10.
