Denis Villeneuve doesn't waste any shots in his movies. When I first saw the one on the left in Blade Runner 2049, it instantly reminded me of the one on the right from Unforgiven. David Webb Peoples wrote Unforgiven as well as the original Blade Runner. I believe this was an homage & foreshadowing.

No Black people. No Latino people. No South or East Asian people. The media only considers white people to be working class & that's why they conclude that such a large % of working class people voted for Trump. That media view bolsters Trump's own racism & the implementation of Project 2025.

President Trump suggested renaming New Mexico as “New America.” While Trump can use executive authority to rename bodies of water and other geographic features, he lacks authority to rename New Mexico or other states.

Put a fork in them. Those birds are cooked. Could have added a starter or a couple bullpen arms, but instead, they traded those things away and are paying $5M for Luis Robert Jr. to be on the IL for the next 4 weeks.
