she had to hide and be stealth, it’s never mentioned the character is trans but there’s something truly magic in knowing that the next time i rewatch TNG, i will see her there and i will know that someone like me helped make the show that ignited my lifelong love of Star Trek 😭

FIRSTLY as the piece alludes: Loren Rex Cameron’s also-trans and arguably more famous older sister, Cameron, was a I believe fully stealth working model and actress (a la plot of Pose) in the 80s and 90s mostly … I rewatched like I dunno, dozens of TNG episodes, where she appeared as Ensign Kellogg:

It’s The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. I wouldn’t wish the cruelty of the Canadian Indian residential school system on anyone. I wish my own country would begin to reckon with all it’s done to our indigenous people. For now I find some satisfaction in my wife’s country trying.

Come the new year I’ll officially be out of a job. After five years with zero opportunities thrown my way the company is “restructuring” and I won’t be a part of something I’ve kept out of the fucking mud. Nice!

I managed to walk up the stairs to bed like I was a baby taking her first steps again but geeze that felt empowering. It’s been hella rough these past couple weeks getting around the house or going out so concentrating on positive recovery over straight up rest has been so good the last few days.
