I live and vote in MI. My emotions aren't high. My tolerance has dipped below zero for this BS slide into the abyss. Being reminded of the martyrs we've always been for people who wouldn't spit on us if we were on fire is neither timely or wise in this moment, regardless of your color or gender.

Seems bad? Sen. Boozman of Arkansas is now voting for Mitch McConnell, claiming that McConnell talked to him and gave him permission to cast his vote. The photo on the article here is old, from before McConnell's crisis. No one's seen him. No reporters talked to him. But people are using his vote.

Why we don't have Universal Healthcare in this country summed up. Basically, it's because of racism, but it's also a few other things feeding into it as well. ALL of it is stupid and self-defeating. We ALL deserve universal healthcare. Period. White people: fix your shit.

This is the reason we don't have universal healthcare. Very succinctly put: mrs.frazzled originally asked the question: "I'm literally confused why everyone doesn't want universal healthcare ???" regenfuturist replied with the answer: "Because too many white people don't want non-white people to have it, too many rich people don't want poor people to have it, and too many white, poor people don't want themselves to have it because too many white, rich people told them only white, rich people deserve to have it." Ziana Welch added: "Systemic divisions effectively block shared progress. Pitting groups against each other preserves the status quo. It is a succinct breakdown of policy stagnation ".

Y’all, I think this might be a good sign because Simon Rosenberg is pretty respected/influential at the top of the party. He straight up said in his podcast yesterday that the DSA is dangerous, anti-democratic, & doesn’t belong in the tent. Start at 18:55 if you want to skip to that part.
