I live and vote in MI. My emotions aren't high. My tolerance has dipped below zero for this BS slide into the abyss. Being reminded of the martyrs we've always been for people who wouldn't spit on us if we were on fire is neither timely or wise in this moment, regardless of your color or gender.

I will not hesitate to block you. If you voted MAGA or were eligible to vote and didn't, or wrote in, we don't have anything in common. You clearly didn't understand the assignment. I can't believe what you say because I see what you do. - James Baldwin
I’d dare that piece of shit Piker to try that in Westminster, Garden Grove, or Fountain Valley and see if he’d have any teeth left. He is absolutely foul.

Seems bad? Sen. Boozman of Arkansas is now voting for Mitch McConnell, claiming that McConnell talked to him and gave him permission to cast his vote. The photo on the article here is old, from before McConnell's crisis. No one's seen him. No reporters talked to him. But people are using his vote.

Friendly reminder, when you see the DSA. This is their purpose, it’s not about them winning. It’s the destruction of the Democratic Party.
Why are so many people preoccupied with defending “socialism” and “communism” right now when we have decades of experience demonstrating that the definitions of the words are absolutely immaterial to those using them as an attack?
If only he'd had some way of knowing what Trump had promised to do...
Texas businessman John Gannon says he regrets voting for Trump after his Venezuelan fiancée was detained by ICE: “Nothing like this has ever happened to me… This is like the Gestapo. I never thought the US would act this way.”

Does he still have the photo of the Twin Towers burning on the wall behind him on his podcast?
Why we don't have Universal Healthcare in this country summed up. Basically, it's because of racism, but it's also a few other things feeding into it as well. ALL of it is stupid and self-defeating. We ALL deserve universal healthcare. Period. White people: fix your shit.

NEW: Ed Markey is recommended by Boston DSA in their Massachusetts primary election voter guide.
@simonwdc.bsky.social, I hope you've seen this and make a change to your post, because . . . seriously, you have no business being that clueless.
They have! They have filed impeachment articles for Hegseth and Kennedy. HALEY STEVENS filed articles of impeachment against Kennedy. QUIGLEY filed articles of impeachment against Hegseth. They have repeatedly condemned Vought and questioned him. Stop rage baiting for clout.
And if the 3rd place candidate had dropped out and those voters went for Haley, he loses by about the same margin. Oh, and the spoiler appeared with Sayed at his presser (in the background; not suspicious at all, no?).

Anyway... This is Jesse Butler, who raped two high school students, leaving the courtroom after having his case dismissed. One girl had to have neck surgery due to him strangling her. This is what patriarchal dominance looks like in the Justice System. Systemic Racism and Sexism.
I mean, isn’t this the story of every place Europeans colonized? It’s the inverse of the Eurocentric narrative of where people indigenous to their native lands would be without white colonialism. Cultures existed before they were “discovered”. But whiteness has always assumed everyone wanted 1/

Y’all, I think this might be a good sign because Simon Rosenberg is pretty respected/influential at the top of the party. He straight up said in his podcast yesterday that the DSA is dangerous, anti-democratic, & doesn’t belong in the tent. Start at 18:55 if you want to skip to that part.
Hey @ariellaelm.com, I was listening to @simonwdc.bsky.social today on my commute & the whole episode is worthwhile but if you start at the 18:55 minute mark he talks about how he has “grave concerns” about the rise of the DSA & that they do not belong in the tent. Highly recommend to all:
Hadn't you heard? Evidently, there are new rules? Dennis. Odd that you missed the memo. 🤔
