You spoke out, and he backed down. Now let’s see the proof this illegal waste of your taxes is over for good. And that he pays the money back. We don’t want the U.S. taxpayers to be the latest contractors to get stiffed.

Yeah, this is good. People should realize that survey research folks try hard to learn from what happens in each cycle - and then on top of that polling methods have been changing a fair amount. So while some errors will happen, they're not especially likely to be the *same* errors.

WashPost: Taxpayer funded Trump political ads seen by many as illegal draw on government cash that was in part devoted to "memorials for officers killed in the line of duty."

The term “remigration” is associated with the extreme right and only came into widespread usage in 2023-4. Even Germany’s AfD avoided using the term in 2024 for fear of scaring away voters. Today the US government is celebrating the “victories” it’s racked up in the “ethnic cleansing” column.

BREAKING NYT: The top super PAC for Senate Republicans is canceling all the remaining ads it had booked in North Carolina as of Friday — shifting away tens of millions of dollars in a move that signals that Republicans no longer see a path to winning the state this fall.

I’d seen several posts like this trying to explain the strange boxy bustle that sometimes appears under Trump’s jacket, and I was skeptical (largely because I didn’t think he would be coordinated enough to use it or circumspect enough to keep quiet about it) but then I saw this.
