Yes please do. The repetitive but slightly altering ache and silent or not clang of loss and onward propulsion articulated beautifully by @natlyon.com
And please listen to this exquisite work of beauty and mourning
So sad to see our forest burning, visible from miles around. Had to drive back to our parents’ house through thick smoke yesterday afternoon, horribly eerie and dim as we came through the trees.
We also discussed @archieislander.bsky.social's If Trees Were Lone Women which has now had installations in Scotland, Peru, and Denmark
If Trees Were Lone Women What Would They Sound Like: Clare Archibald
‘If trees were lone women what would they sound like’ is an opportunity for those on site to track, trace and immerse themselves in the audio of women from around the world whispering in word…

good stuff here… @katesattler.bsky.social and @natlyon.com make an excellent combo.
Nat had some pretty cool early gig experiences but is someone I'd say who really just cares more about doing and thinking and making in his own way whilst being hugely enthusiastic (and occasionally enjoyably cantankerous) about life and art. Process, access, inspiration, connection.
Post I nicked from Science & Magic’s instagram. Issue no.30 this way… www.violetterecords.com/science-and-...
Ghost/work in progress// abandoned after over an hour of rubbing and peeling paper only to make a hole where I'd prefer there not to be one, and then the realisation that two of the pieces are in the wrong order.
In this week’s piece for Science & Magic, I am trying to follow the instructions from a 1977 edition of ‘Illusions’ by Edi Lanners www.violetterecords.com/science-and-...
I have a piece in Science & Magic again this week, alongside @archieislander.bsky.social and @wildtwin.bsky.social and other really good stuff www.violetterecords.com/science-and-...
In Science & Magic 29 I go on a walk through the woods with my friend Ed Rimmer and think about the harvesting of ice, strange warning signs and silence. You can read it here: www.violetterecords.com/science-and-...
Very nice also to hang out online with a real life talent of pals @auuop.bsky.social @wildtwin.bsky.social and Eimear Kavanagh and to come across new to me people and their work.
