With everything going on it seemed appropriate to go catch a Canadian band. Angine De Poitrine at Doornroosje in Nijmegen!

American brewer in Amsterdam. Also pretending to be a bartender. This is a dry bean and wet beer account Hollowsbeer.com
Train ride shift beer, maybe my favorite dunkel, Ayinger unfiltered Altbairisch Dunkel. Yes, the lip broke and yes I'm drinking out of the bottle anyway. Don't try this at home.
In Mechelen to pour at a festival so grabbed a quick drink across the street from our hotel before heading over to the fest
Train ride shift beer. Fortunately that was a pretty chill cellar shift because that was pretty much the most tired I've ever been in my life.
Train station shift beer. I think that was shift #14 in the last 9 days. Just 3 more days and then there's a day off

Hour 5 of this reiterated mash lauter. Kind of annoying, but also kind of impressive you can even filter 37° wort without a mash press
Been making a lot of variations of this potato salad. Roasted potatoes, roasted chicken thigh or mushrooms, raw cabbage, tomatoes, sometimes celery, roasted zucchini, etc., juice of 3-4 limes, lots of fish sauce, a bit of garlic, lots of chilies, a little mayo. Great warm but better cold
Train ride shift beer. Heading back to Amsterdam after hanging in Rotterdam planning collabs with Bereta and Pulfer
The purpose of American zoning is to put the most people—low- and middle-class families—in the worst locations so that the best locations, the quiet, elevated side streets, can be reserved for a small number of wealthier people. Everything else is just kind of window dressing.
Train ride shift beer after my 5th shift in the last 3 days and I gotta be back at the brewery in less than 8 hours 🫠 I've been meaning to try this one for a few days but kept going back to the Kellerbier. This is a great Märzen but I'll be returning to the Kellerbier next time. Brewery to seek out
Bus ride shift beer. Really incredible kellerbier from Roppelt, who were unknown to me until now
When you want to market your beverage marketing business but your ai slop "telling the story of bourbon" example shows wheat kernels instead of any of the grains it mentions. Built on integrity, quality, and passion!
Waiting for the bus shift beer. I should be home but some asshole was on the tracks and it somehow took over 45 minutes to gently persuade them to go elsewhere so I missed my connection. Pretty shitty after a double today and I need to be back at the brewery in 8 hours. Good beer though
Haha, this loser can't find friends willing to take him to breweries
Why don’t you say it on a site he’s on so you’re not doing this sad little ‘brrrr let’s be cool guys on our little pirate ship that looks like a microbrew meet up?’ Why do this bitchmade little ‘teehee the bad man said bad words?’

"You have to in good faith at least concede that xyz..." No I don't. Fuck you. I'm not fucking stupid. I know you're doing a little debate club trick. Suck my dick.
This is true yes and also we know from experience if you give a single inch to any issue the radical center are crying about they will take it. So if we're annoying about it it's because fuck you that's why.
Bus ride shift beer: new imperial stout I brewed for Berging Brouwerij (the brewery I brew my beers at but also brew part time and now also do recipe development and quality management). My own beers are ridiculously big so it's nice to be able to brew a super drinkable, delicious old school stout.
New beer: Where Wolves Hide In The Company Of Men, Imperial Stout with vanilla beans, 15,2%
New beer: When We Became The Violence - Imperial Stout with fresh pandan, vanilla beans, cinnamon, and lemon peel, 15.2%
Where would you go for good beer in this part of Germany? The closer to the red outline (Halberstadt) the better. I'll be going to hear a note change in the 640 year performance of John Cage ASLSP on Wednesday and staying in the vicinity Tuesday night
Finish a 12 hour day and get back to the train station to find my bike stolen

Brewery smells great, brewing a winter warmer with a little bit of mahleb
Adambier batch 2, 1994. I've sometimes wondered if there would ever be an appropriate day to open it and sadly it's today. The first beer The Hollows released was an Adambier because what Alan Sprints did influenced everything I brew. RIP
I randomly took a quiz filling in a map of Europe and though I got 45/46* right I had never even heard of the 46th! And it's the oldest sovereign state and constitutional republic in the world?! Does everyone know what country I'm talking about? *not 44 because it included Kosovo and Cyprus
Double Oklahoma-style black bean burger inspired by J. Kenji López-Alt's black bean burger (canned black beans roasted to dry them plus chopped up feta and cashews)
Some North Sea Jazz Fest highlights: Patricia Brennan, Tomeka Reid with Mary Halvorson, Wadada Leo Smith with Mary Halvorson, Steve Coleman
Shift ride train beer, some Swedish WCIPA. Yes, my shift was being plied with beer at a soft opening for a bar in Rotterdam
