Thank you, NBC, for noting this is in fact an American city. Too many people here pretend it isn't.

I can't believe people are openly rooting for england considering He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
Another tornadic day in Illinois with at least 3 & perhaps as many as 5 tornadoes, including the significant tornadoes that struck Charleston and Effingham, the latter we viewed at close range just to our S. Unfortunately among first on scene of significant damage for the 2nd time in a week. #ilwx
Strong, long-lived tornado west of Unionville, #mowx at 2113z. This tornado roped out and dissipated west of Unionville before producing another, separate tornado north of town after this.
A reminder that despite how dumb this storm setup is and how dumb everything is in the world, you’re guaranteed to have a #nice day today.
Tornado south of Palmer, KS lasted from about 2058-2105z.
Several tornadoes today along the Illinois/Wisconsin border, including these at Lena and Harrison/Rockton, Illinois. Video screenshots by the incomparable navigator, @skydrama.bsky.social
Strong, long-lived tornado between 2324z and 2337z between Truman and Amboy, MN today.
Elephant trunk tornado at approximately 6:02 p.m. looking west southwest from the east edge of Hopedale, IL.
Cute ropeout of a tornado that lasted several minutes near West Liberty, IA at 4:45 p.m. central.
Brief tornado as viewed from the east south of Riverside, IA

We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming! Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope And Dreams American Tour.
And the US tour is confirmed. Not many artists could expect to announce a spring 2026 tour on February 17th and sell it. Again, showing up when most needed.
