Coming home today, I thought I saw one my cats outside. This caused me to enter full panic mode. Long story short, I tripped and scraped up leg but the cat was inside the whole time. So that's cool.

If straight people could stop telling me how it's okay to mock someone for being gay as long as said straight person assumes the other person is repressing their sexuality. But guess what straights? You're just calling people "gay" and laughing at them. Just like you did in high school. Grow up.

There are always options

To the designers of Dragon Age: Inquisition: who told you people enjoying standing in one spot waiting for an elevator to reach it's destination? And if the answer is "no one" why did you include it in your game? What was the design goal? To bore me?

I take it back. I don't hate having emotions. One of my favorite parts of myself is that I'm sensitive. Other people don't like it? That's their problem.

Here's a news flash: just because you think you're progressive, that doesn't mean you're immune to have a negative reaction when someone in a minority group asks you not to do something that hurts them. We all have that feeling. The goal is to push that reaction down and listen to people.

"My cousin for my whole life has been my girl cousin named Katie" is such an interesting phrase to dissect. Comedians are one of the only groups of people who I believe are stress-testing public reception to their choices about grammar, wording, and intonation as rigorously as trans people do.
