It is generally good life advice that if you ever hear some "everyone knows" third party gossip about a trans creator or public figure, your 1st instinct should be to disbelieve it, your 2nd instinct should be NOT to pass it on, and 3rd to check VERY THOROUGHLY who's saying it and where it came from
Jessie Gender@jessiegender.bsky.social · 6d agoOne of the worst parts of being a creator, especially a trans one, is watching disinformation about you spread from bad actors to other folks like a bad game of telephone so you see people literally judge you on shit you never said/did or is completely opposite to the point you were making.

I genuinely hate how people have appropriated inclusive language to argue that interpreting or portraying a masc-leaning woman as a lesbian is "stereotyping" or "regressive". "I'm gender non-conforming but TOTALLY cis and het" isn't fucking boundary-breaking and I'm sick of the pretence it is.

hey since we're talking about fictional colonialism isn't it a bit fucked up that the high elves locked eversong woods into a "perpetual springtime". like i'm not an ecologist but that sounds like that would Bad for the environment in the long term
I supported zul'jin before I found out about the colonialism stuff. I supported zul'jin when I thought he was just torturing elves for the love of the game
⚠️1-2: Hi, everyone. My grandma has been hospitalized since the beginning of the month, recovering from pneumonia. But she's in a fragile state and requires constant care, which has become a big expense for my family. Can you all buy something or share my Ko-fi shop to help me with that? Thank you!!

Yes, the Argentine special effects team behind Tenebris Somnia is the same team that worked on When Evil Lurks.
