im currently thinking about the video game ah-64 apache which was actually one of the first games I played with combat, if not the actual first (unless NumberMaze or Sammy's Science House had combat, maybe...?). i actually loved that game a lot. it's on steam.

But catch the wrong one,you'll be far away in the wrong direction. And privileged folk who only ever owned a car will never get how important the right train is.
hey why is no one talking about the licensing situation with this A24/SCP thing? are they releasing it under the same cc-by-sa license every SCP project is required to have? are they betting creative commons won't hold up in court? seems like the kind of question a journalist should look into idk

Watching EVIL DEAD BURN and it’s wild to me that no one of these non-Raimi filmmakers takes the fundamental lessons of the originals to heart. These movies focus on the gore and its discomfort alone and they become so much like any other possession horror film. Just pale imitations.
Honestly the fact he keeps saying he likes the games and their stories but then turns around and makes excuses why his movie wont be like them makes me think this is just yet another director who thinks the source material is embarrassing and beneath them, but knows better than to outright say it.
In the brief moment when FPS games gave the player a body, Chronicles of Riddick was head shoulders knees and toes above the rest.

It's really interesting how the entire PR campaign is attempting to preempt complaints that the movie will be bad. First that weird "well some people wanted leon" and now this, like... I mean, people who've read the script say it was a bad script and not RE at all.
