So I'm having fun with Marvel's Wolverine (Mostly from watching my wife cackle as she lays waste to waves of goons) but the motorcycle sequences would honestly be 10000% better if they were just QTEs. The vehicle handling and combat is just so bad.

I need to find out who at Avaya thought it was a good idea to have two very similar applications, one named Workspace and the other named Workplaces. I have words for you.

So, when the DND group fell apart, my brain was like "These are your DND friends, you can only see them for DND" so I didn't really see them. They kept inviting me out to things and I finally went to a board game night with them and it was so much fun to see them.

As a Canadian, I love working for an American company in 2026. I love the earning calls when they talk about "Killing the competition." I love it because I know that the competition are Canadian companies!

I just spent the entire day either reading in the hammock or reading by the campfire. Barely looked at my phone and even then it was just to check for rain. Feels so good to have unplugged. I don't know what I'd do without provincial parks.

At work right now I'm being tasked with trying to break a customer facing AI chatbot and I have been more excited about gaslighting this little robot than anything else I've done in the last 10 years at work

There's a small part of me that wants to make my Teams portrait at work my fursona. It would make me happy, of course, but I already spend enough time reminding people I'm not actually in IT and I can't imagine that would help things.

My sister and her kids were visiting from out of town, and I went to a BBQ with extended family. After watching me with the kids, one of my uncles said I remind him of my dad's brother who passed away when I was in middle school.

There's a skatepark at my local library. A plumbing van pulled up and a guy around my age got out and just started tearing things up. Mundane or not it made me very happy to see
