I got a bike after I retired because a very wise man encouraged me to do so. He’d be totally chuffed to know I added a Maryanne-powered fat-tire bike for riding in the winter. He was also a big fan of getting immunized but that’s a whole different story.

The sidewalks in Edmonton were like walking on stippled ceilings. Crossing streets & alleys were the treacherous parts of my 5km round-trip journey & not a sander in site either. Don’t drive if you don’t have to. Pedestriating ftw today. 👵🏻
