Just re-upping history. #BruceMcAllister is abusive. When I asked a question at #AlbertaNext he cut me off and laughed. His full salary is about $17,000 a month and the Premier should have fired him months ago. #abpoli

#BruceMcAllister makes a base salary of $14,000 a month. Paid for by Alberta taxpayers and this is what our tax dollars bought. He proved himself to be abusive during the #AlbertaNext propaganda tour and was abusive to many attendees that disagreed with the propaganda. #abpoli #cdnpoli #ableg

Solid, pragmatic, achievable solutions. Unfortunately, in order to retain power, Smithnwesson is beholden to the seppie goobers she’s courted or she risks getting Kenneyed by the furious little penguins. These ideas would be great if Berta weren’t an ochlocracy.

Separatists want us to defend a status quo that doesn't exist, and develop a plan to remain in Canada that is really straightforward: stop whining and start leading. My latest. drjaredwesley.substack.com/p/canada-is-...

ALBERTA: If your elderly loved one needs admission to an ED Hosp they very likely will end up transferred out to smaller hospitals like Viking and further away... that would be after DAYS waiting in the ED! 1/5

Want To Make Money? Build A Business On A Bike Lane

Research from New York City notes that newly installed protected bike lanes do more than keep bikers safe--they raise the income of the stores they are in front of.

Jesus Christ: after a recent ruling by the Eighth Circuit that allowed Act 372 to take effect, an Arkansas county has banned all children from checking out any books in the adult section, bringing home any DVDs, or using the self-checkout kiosk in its public libraries.

More recently in Craighead County — symbolically, at least, Ground Zero for the state’s attack on libraries, thanks to Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-Jonesboro) — the library announced several changes to circulation as it relates to minors. In a Facebook post, the library listed a number of changes to library policies, including:

Minors are prohibited from using the self-checkout kiosks;
Children under 13 years old may only check out materials from the designated children’s collection, while minors age 13-17 can only check out from the children or teen sections;
Minors may not check out DVDs at all; and
Minors are prohibited from entering or purchasing anything from the Friends of the Library Bookstore.

As local libraries grapple with how to implement Act 372, a national group calls for legislators to repeal and replace the pro-censorship law.

"If the world, however, dramatically reduces greenhouse gases and achieves net-zero around 2075, Canada's climate is projected to stabilize and average warming would increase by 3.5 C." Why are we still wandering lackadaisically toward a fifty year threshold -- and now aiming for 3.5?!?!?! 🤬

Canadians should prepare for a 5 C hotter future, report warns | CBC News

The federal government's new report summarizing the latest science on climate change warns that under current climate policies, the impact on Canadians will likely be "far from benign."

Happy Pride, Calgary! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ It was an absolute joy to celebrate Pride today with so many Calgarians. There was so much love, energy and joy throughout the community.

With $130 million, we can buy 100 MRIs to cut wait time for 1000s of Alberans or buy 600 Ambulances prevent Albertans from dying while waiting 85 minutes for an Ambulance ride to hospital. I very sorry to say that our Premier has decided to spend that on a referendum that's dividing Albertans. 🖕

Quick reminder, #Alberta “It's a little bit of a social experiment on what would happen to five million people locked in a land-locked province who will be armed and unvaccinated, who will be libertarians, and only their personal rights are protected above any communal group rights.” #NoToTheNine

RED ALERT ALBERTANS! While UCP govt focus = dismantling and privatizing HC, safe and timely care may not be there for you or your loved ones in their time of need. NO matter how rich you might be, no amount of wealth will help you if you need to access emergency services! 1/9

So disappointed in what I am seeing in the Vancouver area grocers. The Independent Grocers, from the Loblaws’ family, seems to be carrying less and less Canadian products like French’s ketchup. Almost all American or PC products which we have no idea of ingredient origin. We need better laws!

Less and less Canadian products in Vancouver Grocers.
