Happy to have helped crowdfund this and even happier to receive my copy through the post today. Well done to Jennifer Potter and @littletollerbooks.bsky.social for shining a light on the overlooked story of Kurt Schwitters life and work in The Lake District👍 Preparing to dive in….
Just received Looking For Mr Schwitters from @littletollerbooks.bsky.social. Looks lovely, and at last I can find out about that barn in Chapel Stile. #cumbria

I look forward to reading this new monograph from the always excellent @littletollerbooks.bsky.social about one of my favorite birds. (I hold out hope that someday my own osprey manuscript might be a book, too.)
Osprey by John Lister-Kaye
In this new book the writer John Lister-Kaye reflects on the lives of ospreys which nest at his home on the Scottish Highlands, and the wildlife which surrounds them.

In the new issue of @geographical.co.uk, I review #FutureRural, a thought-provoking anthology from @littletollerbooks.bsky.social on the future of the British countryside.
How wonderful to hear that you are reading @wildtwin.bsky.social’s Ghost Town. It’s an exquisite book.
🧵2026 is the National Year of Reading. I've loved books since before I could read. I remember my parents reading me stories at bedtime, especially Rocky & Bullwinkle, which I asked them to read over & over again.
Mad Shepherds. Just sayin'.
Latest missive from the lovely people @littletollerbooks.bsky.social distracting me in my inbox… look! Mad Shepherds by L.P.Jacks (rural misfits & their pastoral mysticism) introduced by Mackenzie Crook! And #FutureRural, which is also going to be ace. What treats for this 43rd day of rain!

Today is Ghost Town’s 6th birthday. The children on the cover are my grandmother Dorothy and her brother Tom in the early 1900’s. This book changed my life as did my wonderful publisher @littletollerbooks.bsky.social More about the book here: www.littletoller.co.uk/shop/books/l...
I'm editing a book, part memoir, part art history, about the German artist Kurt Schwitters' last years in the English Lake District, and it's FANTASTIC. Not read anything like this in years and cannot wait until @littletollerbooks.bsky.social publishes it later this spring. More soon.
Great stuff. Thought you might like to know about this book, out in the UK this autumn from @littletollerbooks.bsky.social. guardianbookshop.com/the-book-of-...

My 14 year old son Luca took me here after cricket training today. He said there is hope in that sky Mum, I’ve never seen anything like it, the locals said there are half a million starlings here. Keep your families close, hug your children, help those who need us, do a 1000 piece puzzle, enjoy!
I’ve just finished reading ‘Wild Twin’ by Jeff Young, published by those wonderful people at @littletollerbooks.bsky.social - a powerful, lyrical and creative masterpiece.
