Danielle Smith isn’t a leader - she’s a lobbyist. For separatism, for Big Tech, even for Donald Trump. But we can say no to dividing our province and our country. Vote REMAIN and no to the other nine. #abpoli

I first met Jon back in 2005 when he was an aspiring indie rapper & he came into the studio I was working at to record his first album. 21 years later, I ran into him again at the annual Edmonton Firefighters Memorial. Good to see you, Jon, & thanks for your service! #abpoli

You shouldn't have to worry about navigating the health care system like I had to when I was battling cancer in 2023. We deserve access to care — in the ER, while waiting for an ambulance, or when looking for a family doctor. That’s why I’m running. That’s why your vote matters. Make it count. 🔽

In July, my constituent’s son reached out to me & Min. Dale Nally regarding challenges she was facing in renewing her AB ID. Today he wrote again. He hasn’t heard from the Minister, his mother’s ID has expired & now she can’t apply for the energy rebate. #abpoli

Had a great time on Saturday at Black Business Edmonton’s trade show in Beaumont. Great conversations with business owners working to build new opportunities for themselves & give back to their communities. Shout out to IBK for all he does with BBE to help promote Black-owned businesses! #abpoli

New lows seemingly hourly now from Bruce McAllister. He seems to be attempting to intimidate and silence credible critics of the UCP's overtly anti-immigrant referendum questions by engaging in demeaning and disrespectful attacks. It's Trumpian thug politics.

Disappointed but not surprised to see Duane waddling in here. It’s an easy one for him - cherry pick the ugliest possible reading of an issue and huff and puff some laurentian talking points as if he just discovered them. He’s entitled to his opinion, of course, but labelling these referendum questions “anti-immigrant” is lazy even by his standards.
Albertans have every right to weigh in on whether we want more control over the numbers, economic migrants first, and a wait before temporary residents tap the same health, education and social programs as citizens and permanent residents. You know, the generations of people who have built the province, and yes, the many respectful, hardworking, and thoughtful immigrants who came here the right way - before his idol Justin opened the borders to mass uncontrolled immigration. That’s not hate. That’s how you keep a welfare state from buckling.
If the big bad professor doesn’t support them, he’s free to say so. But calling them “anti-immigrant”? Sorry big guy - that’s not analysis. That’s just the slogan you brought from the rally.

Bruce McAllister is a senior advisor to Alberta's premier. He hosted the anti-immigrant Alberta Next Panels. He attacked Senator Paula Simons for calling out the racist referendum questions. Now he's openly supporting an extremist white nationalist party's racist anti-immigration policy.

Bruce McAllister: Finally someone on a major stage saying it out loud instead of hiding behind slogans. Shout it from the rooftops please Alice!
You can’t run a welfare state, bring in millions who need support, and keep energy prices this high without the books blowing up. It’s also tearing up the social fabric and native culture. People are waking up. Now watch the mainstream media ignore all of it - while twisting themselves into pretzels labelling her alt-right anyway.

Multiple intelligence services have documented AfD ties to the Kremlin.

@ABDanielleSmith
maybe come back from holidays to check in on Bruce. He’s unwell.

No better way to spend a part of Labour Day then helping out at the annual Edmonton Labour District Council BBQ. Thanks to all the volunteers from Edmonton unions who spent their holiday Monday serving the community. Working people stand together! #abpoli

Are you skeptical of the Smith government's claims that immigrants are to blame for their own mismanagement of our social, health, and education systems? You should be. Check out this website to educate and equip yourself to fight back in this fall's referendum. ouralbertaadvantage.ca

Stop Premier Smith’s Scapegoating of Immigrants

Premier Danielle Smith is scapegoating immigrants to hide her own failures. Vote NO on her racist referendum.

💯 “…if every UCP minister who had fumbled the ball this summer were punted from cabinet, there wouldn't be many ministers left.” So much chaos at so much cost all because the UCP puts political games ahead of what you actually need. You deserve better. edmontonsun.com/opinion/colu... #abpoli

This week, Danielle Smith launched the her two-tier, American-style healthcare plan. And when an ER doctor shared his concerns about the impacts on patients, Jason Kenney swooped in to mock him. But as I explain, when it came to improving healthcare, Jason, as Premier, fell well short.#abpoli

Spotted on my way into the office this morning - a community staging of a Looney Tunes short. However, since the Roadrunner was out sick, his understudy, Magpie, filled in. Overall, their performances lacked the action and whimsy we’ve come to expect. 4/10 😉 #urbancoyote

Yesterday was our last day with Tolu - our student summer intern through University of Alberta’s Black Youth for Social Innovation (BYSI) program. Tolu was a wonderful addition to our team & we wish her all the best as she finishes her last year of her political science degree. #abpoli

Danielle Smith says she won’t support counter-tariffs because they hurt businesses & workers. Odd. Because just last year, she imposed a markup on wine that hurt businesses, cost jobs & hit Canadian wineries hardest. So maybe there’s another reason she refuses to stand with Team Canada? #ableg
