Fighting games + mecha. I make videos & beats | http://youtube.com/jiikae | 🇳🇬

Imagining a future of vibe-coded games where you tell a developer that a side quest installed a virus on your computer and the dev just gotta be like “LOL thats crazy”

>Finally gets brand deal offers for non-AI products The brand deal: “We want you to wear a mascot costume for our product and record a blood oath for our company on camera in your next video”

Free yourself from wanting to claim you’re a “true fan” of things. Like things a little or like things a lot. The label isn’t important.

Just realized that this will be the first time in my adult life where I went a year without playing a JRPG Still enjoy the genre. But I will admit this is a nice change of pace.

“Frontin niggas give me heebie jeebies” is one of those simple lines that hits hard because the flow, delivery and timing was so perfect Lauryn Hill was really good at combining cerebral lyrics with lines like this lol.

One of the wisest things you can do is recognize your own capacity for stupidity. Even the most educated and accomplished people on earth are capable of confounding foolishness, often stemming from a false belief that they're a genius about everything. Everyone can make a simple, dumb mistake.

In my experience people are way more comfortable about their food tastes, because it's so core to existence (not despite). Their attachment is so strong that criticism feels irrelevant and can be easily dismissed. Movie/game/music taste is less fundamental so there's more to get defensive about

Sometimes people like to romanticize past art and say that high quality work “spoke for itself” But in reality, most classic work did require proper packaging to be received well. Its just that the defintion of good packaging looks different depending on the era.

Food is the only thing where most people can be told they have bad taste in it and they won’t take it super personally Despite the fact that it has more impact on your existence than movies, games or music lol

Maybe I’m trippin but in real life, does it not seem like women are equally if not MORE into anime than men? Not speaking on raw numbers but just average level of interest Could depend on the region or the age group we’re talking about but..

I understand what people mean when they call me charitable. But also my thing is, I generally talk about people the way I would if they were in front of me in real life. And when you look at it that way, a lot of yall would be the same as me.

When you finally figure out the gimmick player who was beating you for days to the point where they rage quit on you because they don’t want to improve

Virtua Fighter community is the only modern community I’ve been in where the dominant conversation is mostly about just playing the game No industry talk, no community drama, very little meta analysis about what is considered “good” game design. Just playing the game.

One thing I really like about The Wire so far is that whenever major plot moments happen, they don’t really do much to emphasize to you that it’s a big deal They kind of just let things happen and leave it up to you decide. Very elegant show.

If 7th gen bloom lighting comes back as a nostalgia trend. Then I hope it will start some deeper conversations about how cultural context really does have a major impact on what styles are acceptable On the flipside, it will be hilarious if it ends up being the one era that gets skipped over lol

Go viral enough times on every platform and you really don’t have the bandwidth to interact with replies as much. Even positive ones as bad as that sounds. This is where streaming comes in for me.

Fighting game players be talking about “meaties” and “DPs” Just freaky for no reason. What are we doing.

That annoying guy who calls anime by their original Japanese title... ...But is surprisingly consistent and does this for all regions. Calls "The Witcher" by its original Polish name "Wiedźmin"

I don’t play video games just to be able to talk about them. Respect to the people that do it, but I can’t.
