O-Train Line 1 Fleet Update: Over the last 7 days, 51 trains were reported in service. 55 trains were reported as least once over the last 30 days. tracker.railfans.ca/index.php This week saw 30 trains operate each peak period, making 15 coupled trains, providing a peak frequency every 4 minutes.

Doing some comparisons between the service delivered in September 2019 (Initial launch of O-Train Line 1) to the present. 2019 Station Dwell times were on average 28 sec, compared to now at 37 sec (as long as 53 sec). Stats below are for September 17, 2019. (The next post beneath is August 2026).

O-Train Update: Over the last 7 days, 47 unique trains were observed, equal to 75.8% of the full tracked fleet on record. Over the last 30 days, 56 unique trains were observed. 8 trains have not been seen for 15 or more days, and 0 trains returned to service these last 2 weeks after long absences.

**Final Update** Rideau Transit Maintenance (RTM) has successfully completed repairs to the damaged components of the OCS and conducted final inspections. For customers, this means that all Line 1 stations and platforms from St-Laurent to Blair are now open. FULL SERVICE HAS RESUMED.

Update: O-Train Line 1 Operations Rideau Transit Maintenance (RTM) has started repairs to components of the overhead catenary system (OCS) between St-Laurent and Cyrville Stations. However, additional components were found to be damaged, and more time is required to safely complete this work.

1/4 🚈 O-Train East Extension update: OC Transpo says work is continuing to prepare the extension between Blair and Trim for Pre-Trial and Trial Running. A key milestone: 80% of the Line 1 fleet required for Trial Running is now equipped with the Smart Bugs condition monitoring system.
