lol we're watching streamer play the Black Flag remaster and got to the bit where the player character finally clues in that James Kidd is a woman (not really a spoiler, it's very obvious) and chat is like "oh, I thought they all knew and just didn't think it was worth commenting on."
and it often feels like many more but a major feature of this psychology is they *cannot shut up about it*. every conversation comes back to their topic of interest. every comment becomes a rant or screed. there's absolutely no ability to suit the topic to the occasion.

some days I just open Roost for thirty seconds to do the daily task for my streak and other days I get a few messages arrive at once and spend a couple hours replying.
I wasn't sure about putting brain damage in my bio but it really is an amazing filter for people who think it's a synonym for stupid like the brain doesn't control literally everything in your body.
The subtitlers on this c-drama aren't quite as fluent as the last one. In particular they frequently seem to pick pretty randomly among all pronouns, not just s/he. It's a little surreal for the first ten minutes or so of the evening until I get used to it.
The periodic "pretend someone's dead to try to break the AIs" bit makes me laugh because I always have to assess whether it's true based on how hopping my timeline is. False alarm, not enough jokes.

the plate that holds the latch on my front door was loose so I got around to tightening it and had a scare when the door stopped latching closed so you could just push it open from outside! luckily re-loosening it and doing it again while holding it in the right place fixed it
my take is that if you're concerned about being caught up in moderation efforts that target harassment and dogpiles, maybe reflect on your behaviour a bit. you can point out someone being wrong without being confused for directing harassment at them.
