Summary:
“Still just as shite at sneakin’ out as y’were when we were boys, eh?” The harsh tone is not entirely how Olruggio planned this. A hurled pyreball of an opener. Well. So much for patience.

The figure in the hallway freezes. Silent. Caught. “Ah– Good evening, Olly,” Qifrey calls back, still standing half in shadow. The room is dark but for the roaring hearth, casting silhouettes of flames which reach across the floor. He does not answer the question.

One day, Qifrey decides to become a teacher with little to no input from his housemate and best friend. Olruggio is sick of tiptoeing around all the things they aren’t saying to each other.

A monochrome sketch comic of modern Olruggio. He is undressing in the first panel as he says ‘I need a break for my eyes. My brain hurts too. All this portfolio work is killin’ me. Maybe a shower will set me straight’.
He steps into the shower, hissing at the heat of the water before relaxing, closing his eyes in the steamy spray.
Something suddenly jolts him to attention and he tips his head down with a shocked expression just for the last panel to reveal him still wearing, now soaked, socks.

Summary:
"Say Qifrey…” Olly rests his crossed arms on the bank. “You don't know how to swim, right?”

Qifrey jolts in place as if struck, pen falling from his grasp. Olruggio surely knows he doesn’t, having saved Qifrey from drowning the first time they met. He also knows how much he loathes water; loathes the sensation of being wet so much he must be coaxed like a feral animal to the baths each week—bribed with the promise of baked goods and adventures—just to keep him from roaming the Great Hall looking like an unkempt vagabond. With Olruggio taking over the task of washing his hair for him as he shudders through it.

Qifrey frowns deeply, not meeting his eye. “...No.”
