No idea if Shawne will win one of THREE open Tigard city council seats. But as someone who has run for office, and lost in a landslide, I can tell you that every donation made a difference, and sustained me for future action. I don't know what our future holds but I know we need more Shawnes.

For children and teenagers, cycling opens up the world beyond the front door. Being able to cycle to school, meet friends, visit the park or explore the neighbourhood gives young people a greater sense of independence and freedom!
In 2023 I received the Safe Streets for All award from @thestreettrust.org for my work towards increasing bicycle mode share. I continue this work today by volunteering with @bikeloudpdx.bsky.social , Tigard Transportation Advisory Committee and #BikeBus www.thestreettrust.org/2023/10/11/a...
Lowering transportation costs for people in Tigard is possible. Reducing car trips is the simplest solution. At a recent community event, I heard from a family that wants to bike more but doesn't feel safe on their route to local businesses. Let's change that! #SafeStreetsForAll #BikesMeanBusiness
