Apropos of nothing, if you're considering switching from a recently deprecated browser and want to try Firefox, I just landed `Copy Tab URL` in nightly - it's not bound by default but a quick visit to `about:keyboard` will let you set it, and also take a glance at the other neat shortcuts we have.

A screenshot of Firefox Nightly, with the `about:keyboard` page loaded. The page lists keyboard shortcuts, and `Copy Tab URL` is present and bound to Cmd+Shift+C.

Basically my mantra at MCPCon this week. Very hard to get out of my comfort zone and talk to people, hand out bookmarks, go on camera for a livestream, and get as much stuffed animal swag for my kid as I could. Also I wish I read this on Tuesday to have as a mantra in my head.

Being high agency is never enough to guarantee you will get what you want. But it will put you at a substantial advantage compared to most. Be persistent, put yourself out there even when it's hard, shoot your shots, take as much control over your destiny that you can.

Going to attempt to do more chill coverage right now of the AGNTCon + MCPCon morning keynotes because I’m sleepy, but because it’s dark in here these threads are also my notes for myself (I’m back to doing hand-written notes because LLMs can read my handwriting better than I can)

Day 1 of AGNTCon + MCPCon in the books. I'm exhausted, but had a blast. From the rapidfire book signing to hanging out with the MCPJam team, great talks (highlight was @aparker.io's) and keynotes, and meeting a ton of people building cool things. Never felt more pumped about the MCP community.

Me with Prathmesh and Marcelo of MCPJam

I’ve been most excited by skills over MCP and MCP events lately, but WebMCP is starting to really pull on my attention.

thank you emudhra. "My only micro-B cable is bent" -> using leaked certificates to spoof the sony app store to get root on my camera

In just a few minutes, every copy of AI Agents with MCP was signed and spoken for. Thank you to everyone who came out, now time to figure out which of the talks I overbooked myself on I can actually go see.

AGNTCon + MCPCon Thread (@aaif.io) This is the largest meeting yet! And these have been going on all over the world for quite a bit now! (Boston soon?! 🥺👉👈)

The print edition of AI Agents with MCP is out today! 330+ pages on building MCP clients, servers, and agents, up to date with the July spec rewrite and Python SDK v2. Thanks to everyone at @oreilly.bsky.social who got it here.

This is very order dependency problem-shaped, something LLMs have struggled with for a while (I'm not sure if this has been RL'ed to hell for MCQs since 2024-2025). Not the exact problem, but close enough to activate my overactive pattern-matching. openreview.net/pdf?id=shr9P...

wow, i had my doubts, but this is true in every single LLM i can find

A probability distribution chart titled "Pick a number between 1 and 10" comparing three sources across a horizontal axis numbered from 1 to 10:
 * Random (teal): A flat, uniform horizontal distribution line across all numbers.
 * Human (orange): A wide, multi-peaked curve with a small bump around 5 and a prominent peak centered around 7.
 * LLM (magenta/red): A extremely sharp, narrow peak centered heavily right on 7.

On Dec 4 I'm joining Vicki Reyzelman on @oreilly.bsky.social's Beyond the Book to talk AI Agents with MCP: the core architecture, building servers and clients in Python, and agent designs that hold up as models change. Live Q&A, 10am ET / 7am PT.

Heading to San Jose next week for the @aaif.io AGNTCon + MCPCon. I'm signing AI Agents with MCP at the @oreilly.bsky.social booth during Thursday's AM coffee break (10:10-10:35). I'll have 20-25 copies on hand, and I'll sign any you bring too. Come say hi!

My physical copy of AI Agents with MCP showed up...it's real! You can order the ebook now, and the print edition should be shipping soon, with pre-orders open. Over 330 pages on the Model Context Protocol, up to date with the July spec rewrite and Python SDK v2. kylestratis.com/books/ai-ag...

I see a commonly repeated sentiment on Bluesky, the website for 38 year olds, that says everyone was excited by the advent of the Internet in a way that far exceeds any excitement for gen AI/LLMs. The thing is, that's not strictly true.
