Thank you sis for posting this. I’ll be on WURD at 8:20am this morning breaking my response to NHJ NYT article. BLUF: I was the daughter in the story and I still carry the scars from my high school years.

"I survived highschool". When I watched @drnolahaynes.bsky.social clip when she put it on YouTube last night, that sentence once again hit me like a brick and my initial reacton in the screenshot was all I had in me to text her. youtu.be/KMIFLsrnvOo?...

Can’t recall if I shared on here how much I love this show called Great Courses. It’s a series of lectures from scholars in their fields. One of my favorite lectures is on the Federalist Papers. The call to be a constitutional scholar is still there. But, no more degrees for me. I have enough. 😂😩

I've curated a starter pack of senior scholars, please reach out via DM if you'd like to be added. Again, this is a resource for those of us looking for community by highlighting who's already here. Join the convo! I'm so thankful for the relationships this space has fostered. Stay up! 4/4

I coulda sworn I had unfollowed them across platforms a while ago, just to go check and realize I hadn't. They been posting some seriously crazy and off-putting stuff and at times even misinformation for a while. Fixed it now though. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I 1000% feel this. No one should be expected to know the effects of another person's disability. When a person uses their disability in a way that makes you the one in the wrong(in that person's eyes) is maddening. Even knowing what the disability is doesn't mean anyone would know all it encompasses
