Roger Zelazny was one of the first writers to show me how lyrical and poetic writing could be, to say nothing of being wildly imaginative, genre blending and just plain funny at times. This is a wonderful honour for a wonderful writer.

Chris Banks@chrisbanks6625.bsky.social · 6mo agoThe book club “scammers” I and everyone else have been ignoring are now threatening to damage my books through posting negative reviews if I don’t engage with them. Implied blackmail. Not engaging but annoying.
Be your own book section. I’ve seen a lot of conversation online about the Washington Post shutting down its book review section, and it's sad to see this happen no matter its cause. There are only a handful of books sections left, and their days are probably numbered. So what's the answer?
