Fan ownership already works. Enfield Town is England's first fan-owned football club, Rochdale Hornets brought rugby league into supporter hands, and more than 80% of first-class county cricket clubs are owned by their fans.

For the new report, I spoke to care providers and policymakers from across England. The message was clear - co-operative care can be transformative for care recipients and workers - delivering quality care and higher wages. They should be at the heart of a vision for the future care system.

It's Co-op Fortnight, and this year's theme is simple: "Co-operate and we can change the world." That's what we do, every day. This year alone, the co-operative movement helped win a Community Right to Buy, so people can take ownership of the pubs, shops and spaces that matter to them.
The government's new Farming Roadmap puts co-operatives at the heart of English agriculture. In its own words, co-ops and mutuals will play "a much larger role": lowering costs, spreading risk and giving farmers a fairer share of the value they create. 🐝
