Emits a deadly aura, not unlike a dagger's edge. I make a hell of a lot of comics. https://linktr.ee/detectiveken

Purgatory 27/7/2026 I’ve been avoiding AI gen talk in these comics because it deserves panel space as much as it deserves a look, but the real life impact of this illbegotten venture is not something we should have to pay for even as much as we already do. Anyway, here me linktr.ee/detectiveken

July 27, 2026.
Ken got a win over those hackers! All the video games that were stolen from him through Humble bundle were restored, so he redeemed everything he hadn’t before.
Elsewhere, he hosed down his folding bike he got a few years back. He’d been grilled about not using it enough because his feet were messed up and really the reason he got a folding bike was to fit it in the car and take places, so he did that and will find a use for it eventually.
Because of the heat and lack of rain, the government instituted a hosepipe ban and probably coincidentally rather than in protest, the hose in Ken’s house had been used the last week more than in the last ten years.
It is a joke of a restriction though, forcing regular folk to reduce their water usage only benefits corporations who, through their huge energy gobbling data centres, are fast depleting our natural resources.

150,000 marched yesterday in London for trans rights. Opened the Sky News app. Scrolled and scrolled. Nothing. BBC News app. Nothing. Guardian app. Nothing. This is what actual silencing looks like.

“Avatar Korra, I’m finally able to commune with you! Do you have any avatar wisdom?” “Yeah, listen kid, you’re a girl, so try to save the world in a way where you never have fun and are never cocky, if you do either the internet won’t shut up about how much they hate you for the next ten years”
