After cons, sometimes I feel a bit haunted by the over a decade I spent watching the fandom from afar but refusing to interact with anyone out of fear and anxiety. I'm thankful that I finally overcame that fear, but, man, do I wish I was braver and came out of my shell sooner.

To everyone at AnthrOhio I talked with, had hugs with, photos with, lunch with, or Jackbox games with, thank you. I was feeling a bit lonely at the start of this con, but you all reminded me of the light that exists in this community. Thank you for sharing yours with me. :) Onward to the Summer!

First evening of AnthrOhio was a success. I was feeling a bit down coming since I was namely coming alone, but the interactions with friends here helped dispell those feelings :)
