After cons, sometimes I feel a bit haunted by the over a decade I spent watching the fandom from afar but refusing to interact with anyone out of fear and anxiety. I'm thankful that I finally overcame that fear, but, man, do I wish I was braver and came out of my shell sooner.

First evening of AnthrOhio was a success. I was feeling a bit down coming since I was namely coming alone, but the interactions with friends here helped dispell those feelings :)
