What people don’t understand is JK Rowling particularly just hates trans lesbians. Not straight trans women (whom she views as the equivalent of feminine gay men) so much. She has some understandable (but ultimately still wrong) reasons for this, as a survivor of domestic abuse.

Democratic congresswoman Kathy Castor of FL-14 becomes the latest anti-transgender Democrat. When asked if she supports "biological males in girls sports," she cheerfully and forcefully says "THE ANSWER IS NO!" with a huge smile on her face, laughing. The number keeps growing.

It is so absurdly easy not to do this. When I had heard things over here about other nations, do you know what I did? "I know what I'll do, go ask my friend who FUCKING LIVES THERE, /hey is this news reporting biased and wrong/? I would like to be educated." (Makre sure they have spoons first.)
