The coolest thing I’ve seen today is that a bunch of volunteer public health professionals and developers have restored the CDC website from before January 20th 2025. This differs from an archive in that they want to rebuild the links between pages and replicate the full website.

The terrible electoral analyses we get from many in the current generation of reporters who don't know how to analyze data & context. Dems came within 115,000 voters switching from winning. It's likely that a thermostatic response to Trump will help them in 2026 & 2028. It's not a massive hole.
As we gawk at the $250M Musk spent elect Trump, take a guess how long it took him to “earn” it back in the market? It took just 15 minutes. I'm not kidding... 15 minutes. According to Bloomberg, his net worth soared by $8B just today. That’s billionaire math for you—and it’s all of our problem.
If you wanted to panic, the time was the night he was re-elected. Now it's time to take a deep breath and do things like express your views to your member of Congress, and start planning for 2026. There will be no panic in this dojo.
