THIS SATURDAY! May 2nd, from 3-5 PM, Strong Towns Indianapolis will be hosting an open meeting at Family Bible Church, 2425 Prospect St. Come meet other passionate advocates, make connections, and join the movement!
A single concerned citizen helped start a movement to make a major trail crossing in Indianapolis safer. A group of local advocates successfully dieted four high speed lanes down to two at the 16th street and Monon crossing. The local government failed them, so the community made it happen.
Strong Towns Indianapolis is hosting a free and open meeting! Anyone is welcome. You’ll find us at Family Bible Church at 2425 Prospect St. on Saturday, May 2nd from 3-5pm. Come meet and collaborate with our local conversation leaders, advocates, and make new friends.

More good news on the housing front- this 19-unit affordable housing project in the 200 block of North Rural Street is now fully funded and will hopefully start construction soon!

Every once in a while, we get good news. 16th St./Monon will be undergoing a street safety project this Spring. Without the efforts of passionate, everyday folks like Carlos, 16th St./Monon would remain a dangerous intersection that continues to injure our neighbors. fox59.com/indiana-news...

Their plans include a 70-foot tall building, nearly twice the height allowed by local zoning standards (38 feet).
