I think BMW may be one of the best placed of the German legacy manufacturers to compete with Chinese EVs if they get the Neue Klasse right. Already buzz in China around these. Just need to drop their hydrogen ambitions.

I went to BYDs ‘tech day’ last night and here they are casually displaying 29 of their cars…a vast difference to 4 years ago for the factory visit.
I don’t think the IM (MG/SAIC) L6 is selling very well in China. I know a dealer who often unloads cars which are not selling well - he had a lot of Polestar 2s for about $16k. Now he has these L6s for about $21k USD. Base model but brand new. Brutal year ahead for these brands.
