Every time someone points out the progress AI has made on scientific problems it's important to point out OpenAI alone has like 50-100x more annual funding of the world's combined mathematics grants. Even the access to processing power and personnel alone, without any AI, should yield results.

OpenAI clearly tried to solve every Millennium Problem and every "top ___ unsolved math problems" list, made a lot of genuine progress but couldn't get the brass rings, so they dumped their whole pile on the math community, snarling "you're so smart, you figure it out."

Occasionally, when I have the time, I enjoy crafting stuff. You may have seen some of my collars out there, but this was my first attempt at matching cuffs for a cuff, collar, leash set for @malissa.bsky.social and I am pretty happy with them, considering everything is set by hand ✨️
