amid protests, the Grand Saline, TX city council voted 4–1 to evict Pip, the library cat, over scratching & biting. He'll now live with the librarian. a cat was installed in public office, performed public service, & was removed for being a cat. this is injustice. this is a crime. Justice for Pip!
See also: Separating the art from the artist is very specifically about art criticism and evaluating the quality of a work as discrete from the quality of the person who made it. It is *not* a wholesale excuse to indulge in unfettered funsies regardless of the harm you cause and/or enable.
