I remember being able to decide to attend a con literally the monday before the con. Always hotel available, reg open, and could afford tickets that short of notice. Not a complaint just reminiscing of those days.

Finding out that an entire generation of kids were taught how to 'read' by predicting what they think a sentence means by context clues instead of learning what words meant specifically kinda explains a lot of behavior when you meet people say "Well it's not what you said, it's how you said it"

I should make a YouTube channel but instead of giving advice or playing games, I’ll just emulate the various pet raccoon channels and try different flavors of corn chips or have a narrator talk about how difficult I am to live with.
