Damn, that was incredible. Arkansas' Bella Whittaker was in heat one of the 400m at the NCAA Indoor Championships, in a two-heat final. She just ran an American record of 49.24 seconds! It was the second-fastest time anyone has ever run indoors. Femke Bol holds the world record (49.17 seconds).

Good tactics + speed won you the women’s 800, mile, 3k & 5k at indoor NCAAs this year! And I LOVED every second of it- The future of this sport is smart + SPEEDY!
