In this clip, lead author @alliesullivan.bsky.social spoke with @ryanlinnbrown.bsky.social on key takeaways from investigating placental corticotropin-releasing hormone (pCRH) as a possible factor explaining intergenerational stress effects on children's mental health in 838 mother-child dyads.

The data is in: the NIH goalposts have shifted. What were once almost certain fundable scores have become coin flips and what used to be likely grants have become aspirational, leading to fewer awards. Another manifestation of how HHS policies have led to fewer awards and less science.

Just got a tip that citizens, including pregnant women and minors, are still being kettled and processed by SFPD. This was after they tried to follow SFPD orders to disperse and got kettled anyway.

As if SFPD doesn’t have enough lawsuits to worry about, now they’re mass arresting protestors. As in 2020, very few if any charges will even stick.
