In 2010 Congress created the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program to reduce teen pregnancy. It reduced teen pregnancy by 72%. Now this administration wants to focus on abstinence only education and scare people away from birth control. We live in the dumbest of times.

In America, where irony is dead, a hotel chain uses a policy denying shelter to local people, for fear of accidentally housing homeless persons… To deny a reservation to the author of a much-lauded book on how American economic unfairness forces working people into homelessness.
Brian Goldstone@brian-goldstone.bsky.social · 7mo agoA Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles. When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies. This is outrageous.
Pediatric phalloplasty is something that takes place when there is severe genital injury or a congenital condition. I have not been able to find a single report of phalloplasty performed on a transgender minor. This is grotesque fear-mongering.
