I'm truly living my dream teaching load this semester: TA for two rad courses w/ inspiring profs (Capitalism & Its Rebels; Advocating Environmental & Climate Justice) & co-facilitating Groundswell, a 6-week grassroots campaigning course for organizers at my coaching job.

Toronto police threw someone down and arrested them after the person asked "What laws are we breaking?" while police pushed the crowd on a sidewalk. This was across from Casa Loma on Tuesday while Israel's former ambassador to the UN was a special guest at a gala inside.

Every person or child martyred is a universe extinguished. Every martyr was someone’s entire world. The heaviness of these moments are unbearable and incomprehensible. For the genocide in Gaza to continue while the world watches, feels like the end of the world as we know it.

In case you missed it, a summary of my report "Movement Memo" (on climate justice organizing challenges & possibilities) has been republished on The Commons Social Change Library, a wonderful online global library for organizers & campaigners: shorturl.at/Q6fAE Full report here: shorturl.at/hjj7g

A year after killing his granddaughter Reem, the soul of his soul, Israel killed Khaled Nabhan this morning in a shelling attack on Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. He spent the last year caring for children and animals in Gaza, volunteering and serving wherever he was needed. Shattered.
