The Govt says the bills introduced to weaken/remove Treaty principles clauses are for more certainty. Yet its officials noted there is little evidence these provisions are creating uncertainty, repeal would lead to uncertainty, and the Govt's preferred option had NO benefits but lots of risk. #NZPol

Can anyone point me to good readings about connections between "extracts/extracting" in the literary sense (pulling out a quote or passage) and "extractive" practices in the environmental sense? I feel like there must be work out there, perhaps in environmental book history, that synthesises this?
