By no stretch of the imagination is Haiti safe. Sadly, that’s been true for some time, no matter what this administration says. It’s shameful and despicable what we are doing to Haitians seeking refuge here. Whatever adjective you want to use, this is being done by our government in our name.

On Sunday, 150 gunmen swept down on a town to kill, rape, loot, and burn. 22 people were executed in a churchyard. 52 were taken hostage. This morning in Danbury, ICE was arresting parents at school bus stops. But it’s more sinister. ICE waited until the kids were on the bus so when they are dropped off at the end of the day, they are alone, scared to death they can’t find their parents. I’m heading to Danbury.

No opt outs etc. In a political environment where Reform, the Conservatives and Labour are pretty evenly split according to polling, would the EU even be that interested or rather dubious about what the next government might do
A 5-year-old Texan just spent the first day of school in an ICE detention center. ICE kidnapped Liam Tadeo on his way to a soccer game with his dad. Liam should be in kindergarten. Instead, our government has thrown him in a prison camp hundreds of miles from home.
I think it's a first step: If we (🇬🇧) are dragging our feet, even on that, then the EU know we're not serious about negotiating. It's all so bloody depressing.
